Since its founding, the Frankfort Area Historical Society Museum has developed an extensive collection of documents, reference materials and photographs. We are pleased to make these available to individuals working on family histories and other non-commercial projects. Our holdings include:
- Genealogies/family histories for many Frankfort residents, dating back to 1855
- Frankfort and Green Garden census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870
- Original village plat maps and other maps of Frankfort from the 1800’s to present

- School records dating from 1850 to 1906
- Cemetery records for 9 area cemeteries
- Zechlin Funeral records
- Diverse photograph collection from 1850 to present
- Assorted military service records/listings
- Histories of homes and businesses in the historic district of Frankfort
- Documentation of homes and buildings over 100 years old

- Minutes of village meetings dating back to incorporation (1879)

- Collection of FAHS newsletters dating back to 1973
