In October 2022, the Village of Frankfort designated 204 Hickory as its first residential local historic landmark.

The Foundation honors homeowners in or near the historic district whose residences maintain the character of late nineteenth-early twentieth century architecture.  This can include a home that has been remodeled to fit historic standards or a new construction that reflects the character of the old town neighborhood
